If you were dying to know WHAT WAS IN TH E DAMN BOX. Read on. The most adorable Klaine scene ever was arguably left on the cutting room floor. You had a semi-proposal, a recital of what could be Blaine’s wedding vows, cute meta on how Kurt affords his trendy ensembles, a reference to the couple “taking it to another level”, Blaine pledging to kiss Kurt whenever and wherever he wants. It’s a real love scene between these two boys, and to be honest, it makes me wonder if it was FOX’s Big Red Pen that was responsible for the scene being cut.

There seemed to be a conscious effort, after the controversial virginity episode “The First Time” aired, to cut back on public displays of affection between the queer couples. My theory is that after some groups complained about “The First Time” coupled with Glee’s declining ratings, the network went all “No Homo” on Glee producers. I’m not a conspiracy theorist generally, but you’ve got to wonder what’s going on when the hetero couple, Finn and Rachel are constantly sucking face on screen, while Kurt and Blaine and Brittany and Santana rarely kiss, except in a couple of “very special” episodes. Hm.

There were a couple of other PDA type exchanges cut from the episode apart from the box scene. The writers are penning scenes for the gay couples that don’t make it to the final cut. This is the show that has a reputation for being pro-queer and groundbreaking…yet it appears to be censoring their writers? Something is seriously wrong right here.

So after seeing people talking about it, I decided to download the French version of The First Time

So klaine scene:
Blaine wants to make out with Brian Ferry and not give him a high five.
Major translation fail : they used the “single” as in “you’re the single most interesting kid in all of Ohio” and turn it “single” as in the relationship statue. No, Kurt is not single, people.
Kurt says “do I turn you on?” instead of “do you think I’m boring?”
Omfg!
Instead of “Because of the layers”, Blaine says “stop it, you’re turning me on” maybe he doesn’t sound that bad in English, but in French, trust me it sounds dirty.
They changed Noel Coward to Oscar Wilde.
Ugh stupid accent. Sebastian became Sebastianne.
Hahahaha “cold hands!” became “where are your hands going?”
“you shouldn’t be out celebrating?” became a “we”
“you take my breath away” became “you’re making me crazy” and an I love you was added.

and that’s it. Now I want to have all the episodes and see what they did with it.

Summary: Established Sebklaine. Sebastian has so far only had sex with Blaine and Kurt takes this to mean that Sebastian isn’t attracted to him because he’s too effeminate. But when Blaine goes away on business, Sebastian reveals he’s been waiting to get Kurt alone for their first time so they can discover how they work best together sexually before they go at it again with Blaine.

I mean, I’m not like super in love with Monchele but I don’t hate them at all and Robsten is sort of cute (as Monchele is) but I really don’t see the point of this. Besides Monchele not being “scared” of PDA, I don’t see the “problem” here.
